for .US registrations. The year began with 7 consecutive
months of double digit year over year gains. The hot streak
finally slowed down for the remainder of the year with small
negative YOY numbers posted in November and December.
Registration numbers ebb and flow with all TLDs (even .com)
but .US has posted positive year over year growth (reaching
as high as 25% in May 2025) in 40 of the 44 months since
we began tracking July 1, 2022.
